Auto tilt question

My guess is its going to be fine, but … I have an auto tilt column stashed away and Im pretty sure its a column shift. Ill be using an auto floor shift though. Do I have to do anything to the internals or wiring of the column so it doesn't mess with starting, neutral safety .. etc?

The entire truck will have a new harness nose to tail.

And I absolutely don't want to pay the extreme price of purchasing an actual floor shift auto tilt column.
