Parking Brake Cable

Is there a difference between the cables depending on transmission type? In my case TH350 vs TH400. I had a TH350 and installed a 2004r which needed the trans crossmember to be in the TH400 position. I notice that now the cable center area is touching the trans mount when the parking brake is applied.
