Question on 56 GMC

Can you help me with my serial number?
I have an old GMC pick up serial number 102CY3991.
I think I have this almost figured out.
10= ½ ton
2= long bed
C=Oakland California
Y= Later part of 1955
3991 = production number
Does the Y mean 1955?
The title says 1956.
Is this truck a 1955?
There is a comment section on the title that says 3625 56
I was wondering if the title may be wrong.
Do you know how many trucks of this model were produced that time frame?
I haven’t seen too many GMC long beds with the custom cabs out there and was wondering if I got I rare one.
