Lightbulb Hey stake body guys, I need help!(Please)

I got a 9ft stake body off a buddy who took it off an old 1 ton Ford since he was putting on a dump box. Well, since my fleetside box is like swiss chese I decide I'd modify it and put it on my 71 C-20. Now I was measuring and started to scratch my head....................

I got 5" between the snubber and the axle............Well, it seems that the box would be awefully high if I mounted it with 5" of clearance between the top of the rear tires and the bottom on the bed. Does this sound familiar to you guys? I kinda want to get it as low as possible since it makes it easier to use and makes a nice work bench on the farm.

Also, could any of you post pictures of your stake body equiped trucks?

Thanks,
Tyler

Any other info you can give is also appreciated............
