Seam sealer
I posted this question in the Paint and Body forum 2 days ago. It got 11 looks, 0 replys so I'm trying it here because I know someone here has an answer.......
My '67 C-10 cab is finally down to bare metal. Finished all patch welding (all floors, rockers, kicks, front pillers and corners, whew!) and sprayed on a see thru coat of 2K epoxy to limit rust until the plastic work is done. I've asked a few 'experts' about when I should replace the seam sealer (especially in the drip rails): over bare metal? over the epoxy? over the 2K urethane primer filler I hope to spray next week? Got too many answers, not sure if any of them are right. Can someone who's BTDT offer advice?
