Replacing the “Fuel Sock”?
Here’s a thought that just came to mind.
How does one go about replacing the “Fuel Sock” in a stock in cab gas tank? And another question is, where would I get one? Do you just go in through the top front of the tank, where the fuel line comes out? I just saw a FB post, and the guy shows on picture of the remnants of his, with the caption “well it lasted 49 years”. In my 70, I’ve never replaced mine. And to my knowledge it’s still the original. If it’s a good idea to replace it, I’m gonna, so I don’t get stranded somewhere someday. |
