Intermediate Shaft

Anyone order the Intermediate shaft from CPP?

I got it all installed with the new tilt column and went to put it in park and the shaft is too long. The little arm that connects to my linkage for my transmission hits the bracket that's bolted to the firewall. This is EXTREMELY frustrating. Why should I have to cut a shaft that is supposed to be for this 1972 Blazer?
