Are these shocks to short for my lowered 1968 Chevy C10

I installed a 4/6 lowering kit on my 1968 Chevy C10 shortbed. I wanted to get some really good shocks and it seemed that BellTech had some great reviews. So I ordered some for the front and rear from Summit Racing.

However when I went to install the front shocks BEL-2103HA I noticed that the shocks extended length (14 inches) is the exact length of my front shock mounting points (14 inches passenger/14.5 driver) while the suspension is fully extended because the upper control arms are resting on the bump stops. I took off the front wheels and the front of the vehicle is being supported by jackstands under the frame to make sure the suspension is at full drop.

Is that going to be a problem as usually when I install shocks I have to collapse them a little so they can fit into the brackets but with these I dont have to because they are already fully extended when I install them.

I asked Summit and Belltech about what shocks I needed for my truck and that is what they recommended. I told them my truck was lowered 4 inches in front and 6 inches out back but I never measured my suspension for static, extended and collapsed length before ordering them.
