Clutch Pedal Tension Spring

Its been awhile since last time I had an issue that need ya'll input, I was driving earlier today and when I pressed the clutch pedal I heard this snap and ding, after inspecting it I saw the tension spring broke. See pics for details
Few questions I have:
1. Is there like a generic spring I can get at my local hardware store?
2. Where does the broken end go into?
3. Is it safe to drive with it for the time being until i get the spring, as do to all this social distancing and curbside pick ups its kind of hard to browse through a hardware store.
