67 front drums not budging

We’ve all banged on drums to get loose but I have to tell you the front drums on my 67 c10 will not break loose. The truck has been sitting 10 plus years. The rears took a few hits but came off ok. Just not sure why the fronts are so tough.

The drums rotate fine on both front sides. There is a large spring that is wrapped around the drum. Does that need to come off? Is there something else holding it on? I’ve hit it with Kroil, wd40! And even heat and no budge.

Any tricks out there ?

I’m using a good old school wire brush and a sludge hammer.
