What's the deal with original bumper nuts?
These are original nuts installed with the front bumper and brackets. I imagine the same nuts were used for a rear bumper as well. Anyone know what type of nut they're called? I wonder if they're reproduced, I can use another eight or so.
What's the deal with the slots? Only advantage I see is penetrating oil, maybe that's exactly what the nuts are designed for. I don't see a locking advantage, perhaps I'm missing it. Thank you
