He has found a Napa brand flasher no ground strap that works and blinks proper speed. And also an adapter to reverse the one flasher.

I'll check these out. I'm just not sure if I have an issue elsewhere. One thing that makes me wonder is that my turn signal lights on the dash don't seem to be working. The gauge cluster circuit board is the all original. When I replaced all the dash lights with Leds I looked at the board and didn't see any issues. Had to replace a few sockets aswell.
