Re: What did you do to your Blazer/Jimmy today?

I’m not sure if this is a good thread to post this or not... it’s not what I did to my rig but what I found for my rig today.

I (my father-in-law) recently found these 48 year old photos of my rig when it was new.

The story:
I got my Blazer from my father-in-law, who bought it when it was brand new. The rig was originally purchased in South Carolina. He recently found these old photos he took of it when it was new (it didn’t even have the license plates yet and it shows the odometer at 2,850 miles). The photos were more about him getting familiar with his camera than the rig but it’s still pretty cool. He took these while he was stationed at Fort Gordon and was receiving training on a camera from the army.

The photos are crisp and not faded or damaged but the paper is a bit wavy. I’ll have them digitally photographed with a high quality camera under glass to preserve them.

Anyway, I thought it was cool and wanted to share.
