Angry Electrical Help...

Im having trouble figuring out what my problem is and if i dont fix it in the next day my dad is taking it to a shop

Where to start.. It will start and run fine for 15 seconds then it blows a fuse and runs like crap(fuse in line from starter to junction box on fire wall) Back firing and stumbling. When I turn it off I have to replace the fuse again and it will start again and repeat the process.....

I replaced my fusible links and some fraying wire near them. I also took my alternator into the shop and they said the Voltage regulator was gone and they replaced that. I put the fixed* alternator back on and the same problem repeated.

With the alternator disconected the engine runs fine....

I have no idea whats going on.....
