Steering set up question

It has been a while since any work has been done to the 62. Now that the new garage is almost ready to move in I have been looking at the front suspension. I noticed that the idler arm is 6" long and the pitman arm is 5 1/2". The pitman arm side of the drag link is 3" to the bottom of the frame and the idler arm side is 3 1/2". Shouldn't the pitman and idler arm height and drop dimensions be the same to stop bump steer? the steering box came with the truck separately and I was told it is from a 70's square body.
I know! PIA Sideways pictures.
