Hydraulic Clutch to MC Connections

OK, on to the next phase of my truck. I am connecting the clutch MC to the throwout bearing. The routing of the AN line is tight, but I have 2 scenarios that would work.

1. Have the clutch line go up with a sweeping curve and down to the throwout bearing. (picture 1)

2. Use a 90 degree banjo fitting and route the cable under the truck. (Pictures 2&3)

I like the aesthetics of the banjo bolt, but I have never used one before. Any drawback? Any drawback of the up and over method in the first picture? If it were you which would you choose or go a different route...explain.

Keep in mind I know nothing about building a truck. I learn something when I have to do it on my truck...so far it has been good, but I don't want to screw up my T56 magnum transmission...so I come to the experts. Thanks in advance.
