1985 350 fuel pump

Just a comment on the royal HASSLE I had replacing the fuel pump on my '85 350 w/quad 4, on a Vandura 3500.
***** 1
Never saw the aft side fuel pump bolt for removing because the frame was in the way, until I got it out.
***** 2
Never saw the push rod for the fuel pump, even with a mirror. Used heavy grease to hold it up; block didn't have a threaded hole to captivate it.
***** 3
New fuel pump had no return to tank outlet, so had to block that line off.
***** 4
New fuel pump had inlet and outlet misaligned w/hose from tank and steel line to carb. Had to rebend steel line into submission in a one handed position, and add new piece of 3/8" fuel hose for inlet.
Royal PITA !!! It was an hours long job for what should have been a half hour!

Thanks for the place to gripe.
