I know better, but, my frugality took over and I ordered a new one online. It was made in Taiwan.

The switch is simple to change and I buttoned it all back up and ran it through the functions. No signals or flashers.

The online guy gave me a refund and told me to throw it in the trash.

I called NAPA and they brought me a switch. I swear, it came from the same Taiwan manufacturer. I installed it, and had the same problem, no signal or flashers.

I had already done an internet search, and found several videos describing a repair for my problem. I dug my original switch out of the trash can, popped the back off and in 15 minutes had the thing repaired and installed back in the Jeep.
As long as you keep you’re headlights on your good to go.
