Carb fuel line vs. intake manifold

Short version: is 1/4 inch too close for fuel line to aluminum intake on 454?

Longer version: I swapped out my factory cast iron intake for Edelbrock Performer on my 454. I slightly rebent the factory metal fuel pump to carb line to compensate for the slightly taller intake. This places the metal fuel line about a quarter inch away from one of the intake runners. Is this going to create issues with too much heat on the fuel? Should I cut the metal fuel line near the middle and place a short piece of rubber hose to help lengthen the line? I like the mostly factory kinda look and wanted to keep the nicely bent factory metal fuel line.
Thanks in advance!
