Temperature Gauge Saga, Part Deux.

So after replacing everything that has to do with cooling (water pump Thermostat, Sending unit, Radiator was last year), and I’ve checked the running temps with my new digital thermometer (all we’re in the normal range), I’ve come to the conclusion that I need a new gauge.
It stands to reason that either the gauge is bad or the resistor is bad. I mean it’s 50 years old. As I think back on the progressively worse reading, I’m going to lean towards the resistor finally calling it quits.
It comes down to it not putting enough resistance on the circuit for an accurate reading.
I’ll update When I get it in.
