Carter 17058213 Quadrajet Jet Size
Hi guys. My brother is rebuilding my Carb, which is a Carter 17058213 Quadrajet. My understanding the previous truck owner got it an O'Riley's replacement - so it is not original to the truck.
Right now as they have it apart, they believe the Jet(s) are too small and wanting me to confirm what the stock jet size(s). They pulled a .064 jet. I am not finding anything really solid on my google searching and I know more about flying a rocket than Carb Jet sizes. Which is to say, nothing. Can anyone help me with the original Jet sizes for a Carter 17058213 Quadrajet? This would be a Chevy C10, 350 SBC with a Turbo 350 Trans. About all I could find close is the below (which is about the size they think my should be). Found this: Carter had .098 primaries and .073 x .052 rods. This was for a 350 in a '71 Jimmy. It also had "CARTER AFB Competition Series” stamped on this carb.
