Steering column length for 67 cab

As the title says I am trying to figure out what steering column length I need for my 67. I have the original column but it is one long solid shaft with a collapsible section. Based on what I have found on how to measure I need a 33" which is not a common size. The old one is a three on the tree and I want to go to an automatic on the column and tilt. So for you gents that have converted or replaced you column what length did you use?
Thanks in advance.
