Primed and painted the wall where my new gate latch is mounted. I made a new gate, and the new post isn't really a 2" X 4" like the last one was- it was rough sawn, and this one is just a stick from Lowe's. I could have looked around more for a bigger one, but that's a waste of gasoline when I can just touch up the paint. It's hot out there! It was 80º at 6AM. It was 76º in the house! The Santa Ana winds are kicking up, so some meathead is going to go start some fires.
