Re: driveshaft question- transmission swap
Success with the swap. Much happier freeway cruising. It might shift from first to second a little late (18mph) but I can live with it. The tranny shop wants it back in two weeks to check for leaks and final adjustments. I might see if they can address the shifting point.
I switched to a single driveshaft and no longer need my slip rear driveshaft or heavy duty carrier, so if anyone near Austin Tx needs one I'll make them a sweet deal. Next up is a shorty header and tucked pipes. Do I need a new trailing crossmember or do I cut the existing one? thanks for all the advice fellas! |
