Using Two Post Lift on 1960's GMC Suburban

I'm interested in getting a two post lift to work on the underside of my 1963 GMC Suburban. I'm looking at a low ceiling unit, the Bendpak Maxjax which can be unbolted from the floor and rolled out of the way.

My question is that with the jacking points per the Driver's Manual being under the front lower control arms, and under the rear axle, how do you properly position support arms that will never span that +/- 10 foot distance? Looking on YouTube mostly I see unibody vehicles being lifted. The C channel frame is clearly not meant for lifting, as a bend in one of mine shows where someone tried. Anyone have experience with this?
