serpentine setup

Hello all, I recently installed a serpentine setup off a 98 Tahoe in my 72 with a pre-Vortec 5.7. my question for you all who have done this mod is as follows, #1- Im using the 98 water pump, how do I hook the heater core hoses being that the water pump has 2 inlet/outlet lines coming out of it, or is there an alternative pump I can use?
#2 I am also using the cs130d alternator, how did you hook that up? a wiring diagram would be awesome.
