Converted from Drum to disc brake line location.

After converting a drum brake truck to disks I have a brake hose issue. NOW it is obvious the set up was designed for connecting to the stock location of the brake lines in a drum truck. Of course they didn't come with directions and after I powdered coated the frame I converted the lines to Disc style, located in front of the cross-member. Now the Line is in a precarious position. How does the factory calipers run the flexible line? I can machine the back of the caliper so the hose can be angled in. Just wondering what others have done. Don't fret about the lower ball joint nut. I have left is loose to it can be taken apart if needed. All will be taken care of before it hits the road.
