Clutch alignment issues.

I’m in the middle of converting my truck to a manual. Sm465 behind a 350. I installed a new flywheel and clutch kit but even when I used the plastic alignment tool that came with the kit the clutch is still not centered to the pilot bearing. I put the bell housing on and cranked the engine over with the starter and you can see that the part of clutch that grabs the input shaft is not turning exactly smooth with the pilot bearing. It looks like it’s off by a 1/4 inch to one side. I pulled everything off and redid it and still am having an issue with it not lining up. Any tips for getting this clutch directly in the middle? This is my first clutch job. Thanks fellas
