71 air conditioner door help needed

I had a mouse raise he!! inside my heater/AC box. The rubber around the flapper that switches between the heater core side and AC evaporator side is chewed up badly. I would assume that this is called the blend door??? It also doesn't close all of the way. I would assume it is supposed to close tightly so the A/C works as efficiently as possible? Is it fastened in place or is the hinge wire just pressed in? Is this part available from a vendor that anyone knows of? I appreciate any help.

I found the picture below on line while searching for the part. The circled flapper door is the part I am having issues with.
