How do you to convert a 67-72 fuel sender to work for 60-66

I recently purchased aftermarket gauges for my 1964 C10.

The fuel gauge is set up for a 90 OHM sender.

The 60-66 sender is 30 ohms.

I know that the 67-72 sender is 90 OHMS, and look very similiar, but the sender installs differently.

Has anyone modded a 67-72 unit to work in a 60-66 tank?
