Simple things, frustrating, wiring n lights.
Just an observation. While working on anything electrical on the pumpkin coach I have been taking every connection apart, cleaning the sockets, contacts, and making sure the wire is not frayed, loose, or has a break or rub on the insulation. If the light bulb is not new it gets replaced. Bulbs may look good and work but still be bad. Old globe can become detached from the base and be loose but still make contact until bumped or rattled and then no light.
Cleaning everything up good, good grounds, and a dab of bulb grease goes a long way. Fifty years of moisture, dirt, and corrosion doesn't keep the lights on or switches "switching". Learning the hard way one day at a time.... |
