Front axle questions

72 Blazer front passenger bearings went out (bad).

I took the wheel off, took the lockout off. It was toast behind the lockout. I have not taken a 72 front end apart so I didn't know what to look for.

I then took the brake caliper off and the rotor came off with no problems. After doing some reading, I should of had to take some other stuff out before the rotor came off. There were barrel style bearings still inside the rotor/housing, but the pack itself was gone.

I've got the whole axle out now and the problem I'm having is I have one "gear" still hung on the end of the outer axle and I cannot get it off. There is no clip on the axle and I'm wondering if the outer teeth are twisted now.

Does anyone have a diagram or pic of an outer axle assembly so I can see what went where??
Thanks
