Floor shift tilt, converted motorhome

Please respond in thread only per board rules, first "I'll take it" gets it.

$400 local, $440 shipped.

Selling a converted floor shift tilt column. Made from a mid 80s GM class A chassis motorhome tilt

I built this one for myself, but I'm not going for the glossy interior look so here it is. My painter just buffed it out to get a nice shine on it and take care of a couple of dust specs in the clear coat.

All parts sandblasted, etch primed, and painted gloss black base/clear by my friend that is a painter. The lower bearing retainer was painted silver.

I did the welding and filler work. The upper cover around the signal switch has the holes welded. The shift collar holes were filled with Wurth epoxy and set up for a few months before paint.

Turn signal lever is a very nice original

Turn signal switch is tight and cancels as it should. Disassembled, cleaned, and lubed with dielectric grease. It has the red hazard button and half-moon connector.

Includes the cancel cam and spring

Tilt mechanism is tight and smooth.

The 4 bolts in the tilt mechanism that typically loosen over time have been removed and reinstalled with lock-tight.

Tilt pivots were cleaned and lubed when removed to tighten the bolts.

Tilt lever is a re-pop. The threads on these are too long, so I put shrink tubing over the extra thread length. It snugs up nicely.

The bottom bearing was cleaned and greased

The upper bearings were cleaned and greased

The shift tube was welded at the bottom to eliminate rattling.
