SOLD--1964 GMC 1 Ton Dually
With much regret, I think I have decided to sell my 1964 1 ton dually before I really started the build. I have been gathering parts and plans for the build. My wife and I are relocating to Syracuse NY for work and I don't think I want to or it's feasible to take the truck with me right now.
First the truck... 1964 1 ton dually. Original everything...was a farm truck but the flat bed was taken off before I bought it. Original color, but was painted at some point in its life. 64k original miles. It was a farm truck so there are dents and dings, but no rust through spots in the floor doors or cab corners. Engine does run, but currently won't start since I started taking the wiring apart to replace. I was going to put a new gas tank in it, but when I bought it it ran off a gas can...engine sounds great, no smoking or burning of oil. 305e v6 engine with original SM420 4 speed transmission. This is a rust free truck..great potential. I had not decided if I was going to do a flat bed or a 9 foot bed (I do have a 9 foot bed that is selling with it). Parts I have acquired for the build-- Original Power Steering pump double groove power steering pulleys! power steering assist linkage 9 foot stepside bed GMC tailgate Original SM420 Shift Knob bench seat Replacement front windshield (An original front windshield--not from China) BNIB American Autowire Classic update wiring kit And other things I am forgetting... It took a while to locate the PS parts and the 9 foot bed. Asking $6500 OBO which is what I have in it. Ask questions or PM me and I can give you my phone #. NEW PRICE $6000 Thanks for looking and I may keep it... Last edited by roll_the_dice; 04-16-2022 at 12:08 PM. Reason: Lower Price |
