1983 Stepside

I was called by a gentleman who owns a Stepside I went to look at a couple weeks ago. He offered such a deal I could not say no even though it does need a bit of work. So I closed the deal, and I will get it Monday afternoon.

It's one big issue I have little idea of, and have never tried to fix this. The bed wood is gone, and I need something temporarily. Bed wood kits appear to be out of the budget right now. As I am on a tight budget right now because this wasn't a planned idea.

Is there any cheap options like plywood that work for a few years? Or what about appeton wood?
