47-55.1 1947-1954 Chevy Truck (need help identifying year model) - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hey y'all! Dude here from Texas.

I recently picked up a 1947-1954 Chevy truck form a junkyard on the original frame, but I need some help identifying the actual year.

All I have is a bare cab and frame, so that's what I have to go off of.
I THINK it's a '49 but I'm not sure.

A few things to note:

* Crotch cooler driver side vent
* Gas tank behind the seat

Any help would be appreciated!
