RedHead steering box. Do I have a problem?

Having nothing to compare it too wanted to ask those that have a RedHead steering box a question.

My box has a very noticeable 'hard spot' at the straight ahead position when cycling it from left to right. It also sounds quite noisy.

Suspension is fully built with all steering components attached, apart from the steering column, and both wheels attached.

It doesn't feel, or sound right to me, but before I get in touch with the RedHead guys wanted to ensure that I have a problem rather than just not being used to how it should sound and feel.

Thanks,

P.

If it goes wrong, I blame the Internet...
