Pretty good haul this weekend!
Three new Squarebodies and it’s only Friday? Not a bad deal in my book!
First one is a 1980 K20. Supposedly has an SBC 400, has a TH400 and NP205. Runs good, needs a few small things. Brand new front clip sheet metal. Some light rust, but pretty good shape overall. Has the stock 16.5” wheels and hubcaps with worn out off-road tires. I lucked out, as the wheels I pulled off my ‘86 K20 project had the same stock wheels, but in 16”! These will go right on and let me keep the stock caps. I’ll probably clean this one up and use it to replace my 2012 as a daily driver. Pics when I pick it up this weekend! $1700 Second one is a 1983 K5 Blazer. No title, but not a big deal. Decent body overall, except for the rear tailgate is damaged from someone pushing it around the yard. Interior is a little worn, but has the buckets and console intact! Some rust on the drivers floor/rocker but good otherwise. Supposedly runs, but has an issue with the transfer case? I’m going to get the title for this first before I mess around with it too much. Picked it up for $350 Third one is a 1982 GMC K10 shortbed. Recon title from side swipe damage unfortunately. Supposedly upgraded from a 305 to a 350. Front driveshaft pulled because the guy thinks the t-case may be stuck in gear. Reverse is either weak or might just be hard to find since the linkage is so loose. Runs pretty well, and would be a fun driver once cleaned up. Plenty of rust and body damage to work through! Got this one for $1000. |
