70 GMC K25 Flatbed Restomod

Hey all,

I purchased a 70 GMC k25 out of a field next to where I grew up. Over the last 5 years, I've been trying to get a vision of what I want the finished product will look like. I finally have most of the stuff that I want figured out, now its just doing it.

I've swapped the rear end to disc brakes, I have a 76 open knuckle disc brake dana 40 hd to swap the front, its currently sitting on a rough country 2" lift and level kit with bilsteins, and I have a machined 350 I'm going to rebuild and paint gm blue.

It has a 350 backed up to a divorced sm 465 and np 205 that need to be rebuilt when I do the engine swap.

I found a ford split shifter with under, direct, and over. and i am curious if I can slap that inbetween the tranny and transfer? Anyone with Experience? ive seen the longhorn square body with one, but they dont have many build pictures.

Pictures will come after work today. Thanks everyone for your help this far.
