1979 Chevy C10 LWB
1979 C10 long bed Scottsdale with clean New Mexico title.
I bought this truck as a project about 6 months ago. I just don’t have the time to mess with it and won’t for a while down the road. Offering it up for sale here in case maybe one of y’all would like it, if no takers I’ll put it on Ice for a while. I bought it with no engine, everything related to pulling the engine and transmission was in the bed. I had a used vortec 350 with carb intake, edelbrock 1406 carb, new motor and transmission mounts, and put the engine and transmission (SM465) back in the truck. I ran out of time at this point and it has sat all summer. The engine wiring harness needs hooked back up, accessories put back on, electric fuel pump set up for the vortec, etc. I had the engine running a week before I stabbed it, oil psi was good and it sounded healthy. I have most of the parts except the fuel pump, and maybe a few other minor things to put it back together. The body is in good shape, a few minor bumps and bruises as seen in the pictures, but it’s pretty straight, body as a whole does not show any signs of patch panels anywhere and the underside of the cab is very nice. The hood has the normal 73-80 minor buckle in the middle but it’s not terrible. There’s pinholes in the front fenders and rockers but no sizable holes. There is one small hole at the bottom of the drivers side interior kick panel. It looks like mostly all original paint except for part of one fender and part of one bedside. The interior will need redone to be nice but could easily be run around the way it is. I’ve got 2 extra rally wheels and I believe a complete set of 4 trim rings that go with it. Again this is a solid New Mexico project truck but not currently a runner. $3500 is what I’m asking. I’ll get some more pictures posted tomorrow. These are all I’ve got on my phone at this time.
