TH350 / NP205 Cross member location
On my 67 4wd short bed with a 350, where should the TH350/NP205 cross member be located to put the transfer case shifter in the proper location?
Measurements and pics would be great...and advice. My truck is a factory 4wd, factory V8, factory short bed. When I got the truck someone had swapped in a mid 70's 350, TH350, & NP203. So there are a couple extra bolt holes from all the swaps. I have a 205 and the original cross member set with skid plate from a 70-72 to put in. I'd like to end up with the transfer case shifter in about the original position and have enough room at the engine & firewall for a HEI distributor. Thanks.
