Talking My 67 C10 Step Side project (long time comin)

I'm new to this blog site and I'm building a 1967 Chevy C10 Step Side. I just working on the frame now with the typical upgrades. I'm boxing in the frame, adding new CPP trans. and rear trailing arm crossmembers and Helix Mustang II IFS. I am looking for a proper Rack and pinion system now and building my own trailing arms with the help of a friend of mine who is a professional welder. The frame stance is 4 degrees nose low and 14" at the front top frame rail and 23.5" tall at the top or the rear frame rail. I expect to leave the patina painted body alone with only a few rework areas as necessary. I'm looking at a big block 396 or 454 as it's going to be a throw back to the 50's hot rod. I like the Detroit Steel Wheels - 18" f and 20" R.
