Need help with repairing seat foam - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I just finished cleaning, repairing and re-painting a 69-70 bench seat. That was the easy part. Now I need to repair the seat foam.
Since the original seat foam is in really good shape, I just need to fix a small section of the drivers side. Unfortunately I have no idea how, I've never repaired foam products.

Can anyone point me in the right direction ? What type of foam do/should I use etc...

And one other question, what is this tag on the spring? Part number?
