Firewall clearance with a 292 straight 6

I was wondering if any of you good looking intelligent people could take a quick measurement between the back of the valve cover and the firewall if you've got a 292 in your truck with stock motor mounts.

We are looking at modifying our motor mounts (or frame mounts) to move the engine as far back as we can. Talladega here we come.
