Intake Manifold - options (SBC w/ egr)

I have an edelbrock performer intake manifold. Its a nice intake manifold and everything but I HATE the provision next to the carb on the passenger side (hot air choke, etc.). Its makes it very difficult to tighten and lossen the bolt between the hot air choke provision and the egr provision.
Who makes a nice intake manifold for sbc's with egr provision but not the hot air choke provision?
Do I need to go back to stock manifold to get away from this?

I may be willing to trade my edelbrock performer for one without the hot air choke provision (maybe even stock).
