method2mymadnes Registered User Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Dyersburg, TN Posts: 327	Steering I have an 87 cavalier, at idle the power steering does not work. with the engine revvvvved up it works. Is the problem the pump or the rack? I think if the pump was bad it would not work at all, or it would be whining.
