‘47-‘54 Kubota power!!

So I have two brand new V2003-T Kubota engines. These little 2 L turbo engines produce a maximum of 60 hp, and around 130 pounds of torque, do you think this engine would be enough to push around these little trucks? I’m just wondering if a guy put a little five-speed manual on it, if it could get up to 70 mph comfortably?
Basically I’m just trying to think of a father-son project, so that the kid can drive for miles and miles and miles burning diesel from the farm, and not have crazy horsepower to horse around with.

I have a feeling it’s just a little too small.
