Carpet Difference?

What are the differences in the types of ACC Replacement Carpets?
I find 80% rayon/20% nylon
With or without “MASS Backing”
What are the advantages of the MASS.backing?
I see it’s thicker that the non-Mass carpet and says it’s better for sound deadening and heat shielding, but will the extra thickness give any fitment issues with my Gas Pedal 70 with the two floor mounted “Ball Studs”.
The carpet that’s in my truck now is not factory, and has a thick padding under it, that makes keeping the floor mount accelerator pedal in place a PITA.
I’m wide open for comments guidance and opinions
