Headers on an a/c truck?

I have a 72 blazer that has a/c. I am wanting to put headers on it and was wondering how you made the bracket that bolted to the manifold work? I thought I would be able to just make a spacer to make up for the thickness of the manifold but it looks like the bracket will hit the tube. Any help would be great. Pic's would be even greater. Thanks JIM
