That's an interesting idea. Some people might prefer to have an original filler neck. I went and took some measurements of the filler neck on my original '68 tank, and there is a little bit of an issue. The neck gets slightly bigger closer to the tank. This would make the piece I weld onto it not fit right. I would need to make a slight design change to that piece, and i just ordered a bunch of them.

How many 67-70 tanks do you have?
